Nunatak invests in Media Network Services AS (MNS), with founder Dr. Tarik Cicic, as CTO and Nunatak partner Dr. Haakon Bryhni joins as Chairman of the Board.

MNS provides flexible and reliable network solutions serving the global video conferencing market. The solutions are tailored for a wide range of video conferencing equipment from standalone SIP-based desktop or home office units to complex corporate video conferencing infrastructure including Telepresence Suites, Video Communication Servers (VCS), and Multipoint Control Units (MCU) in a global deployment.

The MNS solutions are all based on a combination of a patented infrastructure and media routing solutions supported by a unique business model. MNS combines the global presence and flexibility of Internet, the reliability and capacity of a dedicated global Gigabit MPLS Network with the patented optimized media routing. The result is the most cost-effective, easy-to-deploy Quality of Service (QoS) Video Network available.

Media Network Services operates a wide area IP network dedicated to transport of video traffic. The network is based on guaranteed bandwidth channels provided by leading, global network providers. The network is implemented using MPLS and other technologies, connecting key points of presence worldwide. Access to the network is granted to subscribing customers only.
